preferences

To set your default preferences, right-click the  application icon in the system tray to open the menu and select Preferences to open the Preferences window

Settings:

Tab: General

• Language: several languages are available (english, german, italian, spanish, dutch, swedish and more to come)
• Launch STRAYK when starting Windows: by default, this option is set to start STRAYK automatically when starting the computer.
• Show message about ongoing contest after download: if the image is linked to a contest and you havn't already participated, a message will show up as a reminder for a few seconds.
• Hide/show desktop icons with left mouse click on STRAYK icon: icons will be hidden as soon as the program is launched to get a better view of the desktop image. To get the icons back, simply click the application icon again with the left mouse button or select View Icons from the View menu. When exiting the program, the icons will be automatically restored. If the program crashes for any reason with the icons hidden, just launch the program again to get the icons back.

Tab: Save

• Save images automatically: as soon as downloaded, the wallpaper will be saved in the folder specified beneath. Unclick the icon (default) if you prefer saving the image manually (menu item: Save Image)
• Save images to folder: choose a folder where the images will be stored. The default folder is the "My Documents\My Images\Strayk Wallpapers" directory.

Tab: Screensaver

• Activate-Deactivate Screensaver: Activating the screensaver will show a slide show of all saved images. If checked, all downloaded images will also be saved (see above: "Save images automatically"). The screensaver will not be activated before at least 3 images have been saved.
• Slide Changing Frequency and Image Dimension: Move the sliders to set these options.
